This ministry was established for the personal care of our members. We feel that it is necessary to personally touch the lives of the members so that they may grow and be what God intended. We know each and every one of the members and feel that in order to truly be a church family; we must know them by name.
Outreach Ministry
This ministry was established to reach beyond the walls of the church, reaching out to meet the physical as well spiritual needs. This ministry includes the Food Pantry and USDA Food Services. Through this ministry we are able to serve the community.
Music & Dance Ministry
“Judah Praise”, our praise team, ministers to the congregants through music. We are a Worship Center and the music plays a very important part in our services. The music, ministered by the leading and anointing of the Holy Spirit, is a very powerful tool in leading the people from praise into worship.
The dance ministries are Anointed Praise, our adults, Anointed Desire, our teens and Anointed Creations, our youth. These anointed dancers minister to us through their dance before the Lord. They too set the tone for praise and worship, so that the Spirit of the Living God permeates the building. Dancing is indeed a ministry unto the Lord.
Youth/Children’s Church Ministry
This ministry is key in the development of the youth. In this area is the Nursery, Children’s Church, Teen Church, Youth Activity Nights, Shut-Ins, Youth Retreats, Youth Conferences and all of our other youth activities and special events. We feel that it is important for the youth to know that they are just as important to the ministry as any one else. The youth are the present and the future church.
Administrative Department
Provides a variety of clerical and office support services for the senior pastor and pastoral staff, organizes the activities and functions of the church office, and coordinates the flow of information to the senior pastor or pastoral staff.
Deacons Ministry
The deacons serve the pastor(s). They assist by conducting devotional, providing pulpit supplies, and caring for the grounds and buildings of the church. They also assist with the Lord’s Supper. A deacon also is responsible for taking Communion to people unable to come to church because of age, illness or other infirmity. The deacon must be teachable and able to teach and preach the Word of God.
Security Ministry
Homeland Security is responsible for the safety and security of the church. Periodic ground and building checks, and monitoring of the security monitors fall under the duties of this ministry.
The usher ministry at Firm Foundation is involved in directing attendees to their seats, , helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women and youth whose ministry is integral to church life.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of Firm Foundation Worship Center. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. The Audio Visual Ministry is responsible for recording all of the services and training session. Sermons and teachings are put on DVD’s as well as CD’s. They are also responsible for support of Music and Dance Ministry. They must assure that all of the equipment is operational before all events. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.
Marriage Ministry
Marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage. This ministry provides training, counseling and group fellowship. Listening, understanding, helping, and encouraging helps, by God’s grace to save marriages, and repair relationships. Couples have found fresh hope and new joy in a warm and fulfilling relationship with their spouse.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Firm Foundation Worship Center is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday at 9:15 a.m., before the morning service, our prayer warriors come together praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, Prayer Warriors pray for their pastor, church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer, praise and Bible study.
